You will be guided on a custom flats skiff with your personal, experienced guide who is there to help you bring maximum results to your day of fishing. Your day will be spent exploring huge flats and mangrove shorelines. If you are looking for your first Bonefish, this is your place. Fishing trips include two rods per boat, fly or spinning tackle.

The Lodge - Pesca Maya lodge is located between Tulum and Punta Allen on a beautiful and secluded white sand beach with incredible turquoise Caribbean waters just in front of the lodge, as well as part of the second largest coral reef system in the world just offshore. Able to take up to 20 anglers at a time, (2 per room), the lodge offers 10 air-conditioned rooms with seven having an ocean view. 

The facilities also feature a restaurant, a bar, a small fly shop, and Main Palapa where you and the rest of the anglers can meet up at the end of a good day of fishing and share stories, tie some flies, and enjoy some good company. You will also have the beach in front of the lodge to relax on while not fishing.

Breakfast Includes: Fruits, Milk, Juice, Yogurt, any style of eggs, or pancakes.

Lunch Includes: Box lunch with two sandwiches per person, purified water, soft drinks, fruit, snacks and a few beers. Appetizers and Snacks at the lodge.

Dinner Includes: Variety of soups, salads, and vegetables, along with a main course alternated throughout the week of fish, steak, shrimp, lobster, and chicken. Drinks include purified water, sodas, beer, and wine at the table along with national drinks.

Transportation from the Cancun Airport and return, accommodations with air conditioning, private bath, and hot water, boat and guide, 2 rods per boat (fly or spin tackle), three meals a day, national drinks, beer, sodas, and purified water.

Not Included In Your Trip

Airline Ticket,  Tips,  Terminal Tackle,  Phone Calls,  Fishing License

$118 pesos per day or $256 pesos per week to be paid in cash at the lodge.

Flies, leaders, jigs, and lures are available at the lodge for $3.00 to $5.00 per piece. 

When do I need to book? We recommend making your reservation as early as you can. There is plenty of demand for space and the lodge does fill well in advance, especially in the peak season which is November through May.

How do I make my reservation? A 50% deposit is required to make your reservation. This can be done online through our secure payments system or you can pay by check. The balance of your trip must then be paid at least 30 days before the date of your vacation.

How do I get to the Lodge once I arrive in Cancun? Transportation to the Lodge is included in your trip. A representative from the Lodge will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign for Pesca Maya Lodge.  All guests must arrive to Cancun by 4:00pm in order to be on time for the 5:00pm departure.

Summer Discount!  June 15th to October 31st. 20% discount.

Fall Discount!  November 1st to December 18th. 10% discount.

Cancellation on a booking can be made 30 days before the arrival date, with a charge of  10% of the deposit.

If you need to cancel within 30 days before arrival, your payment is not refundable, but your trip can be rescheduled any time with 10% penalty. If rates are higher during new dates you will pay the difference.

In case of weather conditions such as tropical storms or hurricanes, trip will be rescheduled, if you are already at the lodge, we will reschedule the days you couldn’t fish because of the weather.

Once a deposit is made, we will confirm your dates and email you your confirmation letter with all of the information you will need for your trip.

If we cancel because of the weather you will be able to reschedule the trip or cancel, but only if cancellation is done the day before.

You will need to fly into the Cancun International Airport with plans to arrive in between 11:00am and 4:00pm Cancun Time. Cancun is serviced by several major carriers like American, Continental, Delta, and U.S. Airways. Nonstop flights are available from Miami, Dallas, Houston, Newark, Denver, L.A., and several other U.S. cities. Connections from most U.S. cities have arrival times before 4:00pm. If for any reason your flight is delayed, you will need to call us so we can wait for you on the next flight.

 Customs and Immigration

Upon arrival to the Airport, you will first need to clear Mexican Immigration where you will need to present a valid U.S. Passport and present your customs form provided by your air carrier. Once through Immigration you will need to pick up your luggage and pass through Customs and head out to the arrival lobby area.
