Cancun Tarpon Fishing!
Cancun Light
Tackle Flats & Fly Fishing
Cancun is located at the
northern end of the Yucatan Peninsula and is one of the most popular vacation
destinations in the world. The area offers visitors beautiful white sand
beaches, endless activities and things to do, and some of the best nightlife you
can find.
While well known for
it's beautiful beaches and wild nightlife, few realize that like the rest of the
Yucatan, the lagoons, channels, and back country areas produce great light
tackle, flats, & fly fishing opportunities all year long.
Just minutes from your hotel,
you could aboard a custom flats boat on your way for a morning of great fishing
all while being back at your hotel in time for lunch with the family. Cancun
trips mainly focus on
Tarpon fishing, however Snook are available as well and Bonefish and Permit are caught throughout the spring
and summer months.

The
Fishing - Fly
fishing or light tackle, the lagoon offers you a
chance to get out for some great fishing without
having to spend a lot of time away from the family. In between Cancun
and the mainland we have the Nichupte Lagoon as well
as two smaller lagoon areas that break
off from the main body of water. The area offers us
flats, mangrove shorelines, and lagoon channels for a nice
variety of fishing.
You will be guided on a custom flats
boat with an experienced guide who
will be there to help you make the most of your day
of fishing. If you are looking for your
first Tarpon, you'll have a good chance to land one
here.
The
trips focus more on
Tarpon, Snook, and other saltwater species with Permit and
Bonefish in the spring and summer months.
