Are you after Giant Tarpon? You need to get to Holbox! Located at the northern edge of the Yucatan Peninsula Holbox offers anglers the shot at Giant Tarpon. In the late Spring into the Summer months schools of Giant Tarpon are move through the area and are in the 80lb up to 150lb range making for one the best fights you will ever have on a fly rod. While the giant Tarpon only come for part of the year, baby Tarpon, Snook, and other saltwater species are found all year making Holbox an ideal place to fish any time of the year.
