Your home base is Casa Celeste, a beautiful beachfront lodge situated between Tulum and Punta Allen on a secluded white-sand beach.

The lodge offers 4 air-conditioned rooms with private baths and hot water, just steps from the beach. Guests enjoy a dining room and a large common area with beach views for relaxing after fishing.

Starlink internet is available throughout the property.

The turquoise Caribbean waters are right in front, with part of the second-largest coral reef system in the world just offshore.

Meals & Beverages

All meals and beverages are included at the lodge.

Breakfast: Fresh fruits, milk, juice, yogurt, eggs any style, or pancakes.
Lunch: Box lunch on the boat with 2 sandwiches, purified water, soft drinks, fruit, snacks, and a couple of beers. Appetizers and snacks are also served back at the lodge.
Dinner: Daily menu featuring soups, salads, vegetables, and a rotating main course of fresh fish, steak, shrimp, lobster, or chicken. Drinks include purified water, sodas, beer, wine, and national drinks.

Cancelation Policy:

Reservations can be cancelled 60 days before your arrivale date with a 10% Cancellation Fee.

Cancellations within 60 days of your arrival date are not refundable. Your package can be rescheduled for a future date, with a 10% charge. Any rescheduled trip stays at the rate the trip was booked for.

If a tropical storm or hurricane causes your trip to be cancelled your trip can be rescheduled but not refunded. If already at the lodge, your cancelled days can be resceduled but not refunded.

Travel Arrangements

Fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Non-stop flights are available from many U.S. cities. Upon arrival, clear Mexican Immigration and Customs with a valid passport.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ascension Bay

We recommend booking as early as possible. The lodge fills well in advance, especially during peak season (November–May).

A 50% deposit is required. You can pay online, by phone with credit card, or by PayPal. The balance is due 60 days prior to your trip.

Transportation is included. A lodge representative will meet you at the airport with a sign. All guests must arrive in Cancun by 4:00 PM for the 5:00 PM departure.

Ascension Bay offers year-round Permit, Bonefish, and Barracuda, with strong seasonal runs of Tarpon and Snook. It's widely regarded as one of the top 10 saltwater fly fishing destinations in the world, with excellent Grand Slam potential (Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon in a single day).
